Siglo de Oro Perform at Tidcombe

The third in the current series of concerts was held at St Michael's, Tidcombe, on Sunday 23rd November. Candle lanterns lit the path to the Church, where more candles provided a perfect setting for the music. The talented young singers of Siglo de Oro, under their director Patrick Allies, gave disciplined yet passionate performances of works by Tallis, Byrd, Josquin des Prez and other composers of the Rennaisance. After the concert, members of the audience joined the musicians for wine at The Manor.
